Meet The Team

Hi, my name is Robert Kerns! I was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and began working in the lawn care industry in 1983 while studying at Duquesne University.  Probably the most memorable and educational early green industry experience was my time with Disney World in their grounds maintenance department.

​Hello, my name is Rob! I was born in Pittsburgh, PA. I have been in the lawn care industry since 1997 and began working at Custom Turf in 2002. What I love the most about working at Custom Turf is the small business atmosphere. I have great co-workers and we all share the same goals. As General Manager, I oversee all of Custom Turf’s marketing and sales functions as well as the day-to-day operations of the business.

Hi, my name is Brandon!  I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA.  I have been in the lawn care industry since 2002.  I have worked at Custom Turf for 11 years.  As the Assistant Lawn Care Manager, I oversee all aspects of our product handling, mixing and daily preparation of the fleet for our technicians to service our loyal customers.  I enjoy working closely with our lawn care technicians. 

Hi My Name is Brandon D’Eramo. I was born and raised here in the Pittsburgh area. I began my career in the green industry in 1999. My introduction to lawn care was at a large national franchise servicing eastern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire.  I began my career as an Office Manager, spent time as a Service Manager and General Manager until I had the opportunity to purchase the 4 Franchises I had worked for. 

Hi, my name is Elaine! I was born & raised in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, PA and began working at Custom Turf in 2015 as the Scheduling Coordinator. My focus was the daily scheduling of the lawn care and sprinkler technicians as well as learning the daily operations of the lawn care business. In 2017 I was promoted to Office Manager. I enjoy working at Custom Turf, where they truly treat you like family and I have the best coworkers.
