Our program is designed to provide your lawn with the proper amount of custom blend fertilizer to help keep your lawn thick and green. We use a variety of weed controls to control all types of broadleaf weeds in your lawn throughout the season.

Custom Turf includes a grub control application as part of our regular program. We also apply a preventative surface insect control for insects such as chinch bugs, and sob webworms during our early summer visit. BE AWARE THAT MOST COMPANIES OFFER A SURFACE INSECT CONTROL AS NEEDED. THE ONLY WAY TO DETERMINE THAT YOU NEED A SURFACE INSECTICIDE APPLIED IS TO SEE THE INSECT DAMAGE TO YOUR TURF.

Applications

#1 Early Spring - Custom Blend dry granular fertilizer. Preemergent control for crabgrass. Spot weed control for broadleaf weeds (weather permitting).

#2 Late Spring - Controlled release liquid fertilizer with micronutrients. Broadleaf weed control.

#3 Grub Control - Preventative grub control

#4 Early Summer - Custom blend dry granular fertilizer. Surface insect control. Spot weed control for broadleaf weeds.

#5 Late Summer - Heavy rate of dry granular fertilizer. Spot weed control for broadleaf weeds.

#6 End of Season -A heavy rate of winterizer for root development, winter survival, disease resistance, and faster green-ups.
